We did make enquiries before going to Madeira and were pleasantly surprised at the detail and time taken in replying to us, this convinced us to use the company. We also found the tour prices to be very competitve. We did two tours, one with 6 of us in a mini-bus - thanks to Miguel for a very informative day out. The second was in a small coach with Ana as our guide (the lady who provided the pre holiday information), again very informative day without too much detail. Thank you Lido Tours.

We have just returned from 3 weeks on the beautiful island of madeira. We booked all our tours - North & West, South & East and the Nun's Valley - and several levada walks - with the lovely people at Lido Tours. They were very helpful, suggesting places we might see. Travelling on the mini-buses was brilliant, very friendly, and a good way of travelling on the steep mountain roads, and our tour guides were brilliant, particularly Bruno. We had hoped to do levada walking on our own but found it much easier to book the walks with Lido - The transport to and from the walks was great, and the guides very informative and competent, changing the walk when bad weather made it unsafe to continue. Their knowledge was first class.
BRILLIANT - Thank you Lido Tours. We will be back!!

My wife and I went to 2 tours (north/west x south/east) in both we had Marco, what a good time!!!! Safe driving and a lot of information that don't come in the books! Good sense of humor too... Lol
We recommend Lido Tours, good value for money!!!!
We want to return and doing the other tours....
Being a great-grandson of Madeirans I feel so proud of that tiny, beautiful land and hard working people.

On the 6th of December we arrived in Funchal on NCL Norwegian Spirit. We were met by your driver Bruno who right from the start had us laughing. During our whole day tour of your lovely island he was so informative not only about the usual history etc but also the way the people live out in the countryside and all the plants and wildlife. I must say he is a very brave man to make fun of women drivers in front of our wives!!!!!
We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and have already told our friends about you so if any of them come to Madeira they will use your company. Once again a very big THANK YOU to you and Bruno for a brilliant service, what a superb asset he is to your company.
