Who are we?
For over 16 years, Strawberry World has been Madeira's leading Island Tour Operator.

Our buses
We operate the latest, new Mercedes executive coaches with comfortable VIP leather interiors, luxurious adjustable seats, seat belts, individual air conditioning and an air exchange system that provides constant fresh air throughout the journey for your comfort and hygiene.
We have less seats and more legroom than any other tour company in Portugal. Our coaches are the latest low emissions models. And there’s no need to hurry on-board; your seats are guaranteed! All of our seats are numbered and allocated at the time of booking, (for the East and West tours) great if you want to enjoy your tour with friends and family. Our coach seats are approximately 2 ½ meters above road level, so excellent panoramic views and safety is guaranteed.
Our shops
We are located in the main square in Funchal’s Lido tourist zone within a few hundred metres of many of the most popular hotels. Our shops are easy to spot, being directly opposite each other.
Our prices
We offer the lowest prices and the best value Madeira Island tours. How do we do this? We own our coaches and we only sell direct to our clients through our own shops or online.
Most Hotels and many travel shops that sell tours receive between 30 to 40 % commission when they sell you a tour. Most of these tours are in mini buses with 7 to 8 seats, the driver will also be your guide and there is no guarantee you will be sitting next to your partner. Strawberry World coaches have professional drivers and a qualified tourist guide with a degree in tourism.
During your holidays in Madeira you will see many official looking information centres offering very low prices for many tourist services, but beware; they are really offices for selling time-share. Once inside you will discover that these prices are only available if you take a tour of their time-share resort.
